ACE to release mobile ticketing app

The Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) commuter-rail service in San Jose, California, will release a mobile ticketing application on April 1. The application, ACE Rail mTickets, will enable passengers to pay for tickets on their mobile phone instead of waiting in line.  Once the application is downloaded on a iPhone or Android phone, users will be prompted to create a rider profile including name, email and payment information. Once completed, passengers may enter their location and destination station and activate their ticket before each ride.
